Eris by Studio Velia
Eris: a new space for hospitality and creativity in Porta Venezia. Born from an idea by Studio Pesca, a Milan-based creative studio, ERIS is a place with a dual identity, located in the eclectic district of Porta Venezia and designed by the architecture studio VELIA. ERIS merges dining with a modular exhibition space: a flexible showcase that can adapt to host and tell the story of ever-evolving projects.

On one side, it features a café offering specialty coffee curated by Nudo, an Italian micro-roastery, and natural wines selected by Retrovino, a Roman wine shop born from Retrobottega. On the other, a space open to brands, designers, and creative entities looking to personalize and temporarily inhabit ERIS through pop-ups and installations. Its street-facing entrance with two large windows and a welcoming outdoor area enhances the visibility of the hosted projects, turning the space into a living installation in constant flux.
The contemporary interior design by VELIA is built around the concept of a mutable frame, hosting a permanent bar while adapting to the visual and narrative identity of each guest brand. The walls support a reconfigurable system whose outer finish can be altered according to the specific needs of each exhibition project. In its initial iteration, they are entirely clad in Homapal laminates. The stainless steel furnishings by Art Serf are also movable, designed to meet the needs of both the guest brands and those working within the space.

The bar is conceived as an integral part of the convivial vision, with a wall-mounted kitchen counter designed by Volumeuno that flips the traditional frontal layout. Fixtures by QuadroDesign, lighting by From Lighting, a marble sink by Ambrosetti, PVC flooring for the restrooms by Aplem, and handles by Verum complete the project of this dynamic and versatile new venue.
ERIS opened to the public on June 18, 2025. Opening hours: Wednesday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, at Via Eustachi 8, Milan.
