The new Thermostatic
QuadroDesign expands its universal built-in system IN001/1 with a new thermostatic cartridge designed specifically for the shower environment. The system preserves the modular logic that defines IN001/1: the same housing can host a traditional cartridge, progressive mixer, hot/cold tap, diverter, and now a high-performance thermostatic unit.
The new thermostatic cartridge is dedicated to shower use, offering a nominal flow rate of approximately 12 l/min for a smooth, comfortable water delivery. Non-return valves are integrated within the cartridge body, together with stainless-steel filters, ensuring maximum safety and easy maintenance.
The 330° mixing angle allows for precise and intuitive temperature adjustment. Designed to suit contemporary systems, the cartridge is compatible with instantaneous water heaters, storage water heaters and centralized systems. A safety mechanism automatically shuts off the water flow in case of cold-water failure, reducing the risk of scalding. Performance and safety comply with EN1111 standards. Each cartridge is factory-calibrated at 38 °C ± 1 °C, with a thermal differential of 50 °C and inlet pressures of 3 bar, ensuring temperature stability under real-use conditions.
Built on the IN001/1 universal built-in system, the new thermostatic unit can be combined with any two-way diverter from compatible collections: Levo, Modo, Stereo, HB, Q, Valvola01, Valvola02, FFQT, Super, and Hum, as well as future series developed on the same standard. A single built-in body, multiple configurations: the thermostatic mixer becomes part of a flexible ecosystem designed for residential and contract projects alike, with the same technical precision that defines QuadroDesign.
