Pan Deli by Studio wok
Designed by Studio wok, PAN Deli interprets the everyday ritual of food through an architecture defined by precision, materiality and essential gestures. The project is organised around a series of carefully positioned volumes that shape the space into distinct yet connected areas, creating a fluid sequence between preparation, display and conviviality.
Fibreglass grating, concrete and birch plywood establish a restrained material palette where each element contributes to the identity of the interior. Light becomes an architectural material itself: filtered through large openings and integrated with custom lighting elements, it enhances the changing atmosphere of the space throughout the day while reinforcing the dialogue between the dining area and the open kitchen.
Subtle references to Japanese culture emerge through proportion, rhythm and attention to detail rather than explicit formal quotations. The result is an environment that balances functionality with a quiet sense of familiarity, where every component contributes to a coherent architectural language.
In the guest bathroom, the Valvola02 collection, designed by Studio Adolini, complements the project’s essential vocabulary. Manufactured in AISI316L stainless steel, its rigorous geometry and tactile materiality integrate naturally within the interior, extending the project’s consistent approach to detail and material quality.
