Aroma Diffuser feat. Rhizome Scents
Within the Objects collection, QuadroDesign introduces a new piece that stands as a small manifesto of its design philosophy. An object that lies outside the company’s usual production, yet fully embodies its essence — mechanical precision, formal simplicity, and attention to detail.
The QuadroDesign fragrance diffuser is conceived as an exercise in balance between matter and function. It is composed of a transparent glass bottle and a stainless-steel AISI316L crown that enhances its pure cylindrical geometry.
The steel crown conceals the glass thread at the bottle’s neck, restoring visual continuity and harmony of form. Inside, a subtle inner taper allows the scented liquid to flow back into the container, avoiding waste and revealing an attitude towards precision and thoughtful design. A simple object, yet the result of a meticulous calibration of proportion and technical detail.
The diffuser is available empty, allowing users to fill it with their own favourite fragrance, or paired with the home fragrances created by Rhizome, a Milan-based brand founded in 2019 by Stefano and Andrea Aschieri. Rhizome was born from the desire to bring perfumery back to a more direct and accessible language — far from the complex, exclusive, and outdated codes of traditional luxury. Their approach focuses on clarity, sincerity, and sensory memory: a fragrance as a form of experience, capable of evoking moments, gestures, and atmospheres. Just like in design, the essence lies in the relationship between form and perception — making the invisible tangible, giving structure to emotion.
The five ambient fragrances developed in collaboration with QuadroDesign — 8AM, 9AM, 2PM, 5PM, and 9PM — evoke different moments of the day, translating their moods into olfactory form. From the freshness of morning air (8AM), to the warm and gourmand tones of breakfast (9AM), the floral and luminous accords of afternoon (2PM), the herbal clarity of early evening (5PM), and the deep, smoky warmth of night (9PM).
A daily rhythm transformed into a sensory journey, naturally resonating with QuadroDesign’s philosophy: observing the ordinary and revealing its extraordinary nature through precision, material, and simplicity. Now available online, the QuadroDesign fragrance diffuser expresses once again a devotion to stainless steel — to its tactile presence, technical beauty, and ability to turn pure matter into a language of design.
