Milan Design Week 2024
We are thrilled to invite you to Salone del Mobile.Milano, from 16th to 21st of April 2024, Hall 6 Booth A33. QuadroDesign presents 3 new collections. The design process led to products moulded on a noble material such as stainless steel, which is well suited to a parallel research between form and performance.

Super, design Calvi Brambilla: a collection for the bathroom. From a study on the super circle (or squircle), which combines the properties of a square with those of a circle, comes the design of the knob that distinguishes the collection. The designers declare a small trick, namely, through this emphasis on developed geometry, that they wanted to pay homage to the company itself, which has the shape of the square in its name, as a symbolic identity trait.

Thumb, Giacomo Moor: a collection for the kitchen environment. The Thumb kitchen mixers are characterised by a series of volumes from which a small portion of material is removed, obtaining a sign that becomes a suggestion for use, a hollow that welcomes the fingers to interact with the pull-out spray or to facilitate turning and mixing.

“Hum strives for the simplest of aesthetics whilst retaining a sculptural aspect. Hum was created as a minimal functional sculpture destined to be part of everyday life.”
Philippe Maloin
Another QuadroDesign tale begins with Philippe Malouin, one of the best-known names in the panorama of artists/designers, who established his practice right from the start with a simplicity that is far from ephemeral. Since 2008, when he founded his own studio in London, he has been guided by a multifaceted creative and out of the ordinary approach for materials and industrial design objects.
