Salone del Mobile 2026
For Salone del Mobile 2026, QuadroDesign presents a stand designed by Giacomo Moor that questions the inherently ephemeral nature of trade fair architecture. Conceived as a modular and reversible structure, it is designed to be dismantled at the end of the fair, transferred and reassembled elsewhere as a permanent piece of architecture, extending the lifespan of what is typically intended to last only a few days.
The project reflects on the life cycle of temporary exhibition architectures and the possibility of extending their existence beyond the limited timeframe of a trade fair. Rather than being conceived as a short-lived installation, the structure is imagined from the outset as a system capable of transformation and relocation. The design process therefore addresses not only the spatial and narrative requirements of the fair, but also the constructive logic that will allow the installation to take on a second life in a different geographical and social context.
